The Magnificent 3:40:43

Pure joy at the magnificent Marathon of San Sebastian (Donostia) in Basque Country, along the amazing coastline of the Atlantic Ocean, a flat course with ideal weather conditions and splendid supporters shouting “animo campeones” all along the spectacular route. It is always such a pleasure to run in Spain, a nation with so strong running culture and a country pioneer in city-wide 30km/h speed limits and so impressive road safety performance. Finishing in 3 hours and 40 minutes, with a nice steady pace from the beginning to the end, a nice negative split (faster second half) and completing well my 8-Magic-Marathons in 2025 (Bologna, Paris, Geneva, Charleroi, Vilnius, Bucharest, Athens, San Sebastian).
