The back-to-back 4:07:28

Very happy to finish the Marathon at Nieuwpoort in Belgium, just one week after my previous Marathon. Two successful back-to-back Marathons. Excellent steady pace up to 30 km and then tightened up muscles dictated a slower pace to finish happy and fresh in just above 4 hours. A beautiful sunny day at 16-18oC, however windy with 5 Beaufort and contra wind for the last 15 km. Rather flat course along the countryside of the West Flanders coast and magnificent supporters along the course.
