The Athens 20th: joy – 3:49:00

Finishing my 20th Athens Marathon (35th in total) highly excited as if it was my first one. At this specific Marathon route, I learned early to face with smile the different phases of any challenge in life:

– prepare well and be ready to stand at the starting line (in Marathon),

– be wise and save energy at the first part (when everybody runs fast),

– attack with passion and persistence the challenges (the 13km-uphill),

– run with your heart the last miles (entering our beautiful Athens),

– and celebrate a great finish (at the unique Kallimarmaro Stadium).
